It depends on what type of leukemia in patients. Some last for chronic leukemia, the years may, before the diagnosis, and other acute leukemia are diagnosed and treated promptly, within 48 hours. Chronic leukemia is the most common are less frequent and CML LLC. Both chronic leukaemias are more common in older people and rarely in children. Children most often associated with acute leukemia - ALL the most common. AML is rarer than the others and found mainly in people over 50 years.

My 2 1 / 2 years, and his son with Wilms tumor diagnosed as a newborn, he has won his fight, and was recently diagnosed with secondary acute myeloid leukemia (AML). AML is connected to everything, but is quite different. Her cancer is probably a second line chemotherapy for cancer causes, as he fought against the first Wilms. I ran a kind of projection, all noticed the 3 months in October, but began at the end of November, he was not himself, and was diagnosed with the 19th December.

There are many symptoms of leukemia bUT every person is different. Some symptoms, while others show the others. No true tumor, as in other types of cancer, leukemia is a cancer of the cells produce the blood cells. I had a cold in November that he could not find. We took him to the doctor and gave him an antibiotic. He has a little better, but when he finished the antibiotic he was sick again. It usually has a few shots here and there, which is 2 years. The march was on a drug in a cocktail of chemotherapy first for trips and falls frequently affected. But the bruising I had was more than usual - has injured at least once. That is, if we really knew that something was wrong and took him to the doctor. Once diagnosed, we learned that his liver and spleen were enlarged - signs of leukemia. Due to the size of the enlargement of the spleen that had to be removed after one cycle of chemotherapy. So far he has had 3 high dose induction chemotherapy and consolidation of 2 towers, is in its 3rd right now and being a termS is in remission! He still has 3-5 cycles of consolidation chemotherapy left, only to ensure that all cancer cells are gone. We also have a bone marrow transplant from a donor, if it is available.

I had some pain in the joints at the time of diagnosis. I must say that I really do not have much joint pain is wrong, because, thanks to a previous chemotherapy - vincristine. Vincristine Since leg muscles are weak and walking with "Slapfoot" or "dropfoot" and stumbles and falls quite often. I thought it was pain in the joints on the decline since his diagnosis, but now I see that probably on leukemia. The treatment was a significant amount of bone and joint pain, especially in the first. If it is clear who bring in pain, pain, help you. I believe, help us as a painkiller, but I think even then, he has pain, but rather boring without painkillers.

The diagnosis of leukemia is far from a death sentence. Who is treatable, but must KEPE you that you have in life. I know that many children and adults went to live completely normal lives after receiving their free of disease (NED) status. Sometimes a patient may relapse, but it is quite possible that he or she can achieve a remission, and ultimately NED of the state.

You might consider reading the novels are:
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr
Zink by Cherie Bennett
House of Many Gods: A Novel by Kiana Davenport
True and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters: A Novel by Elisabeth Robinson

I hope this helped some. If you have any questions, please send me a (crazycanuckj@yahoo.ca) or IM me (crazycanuckj) e-mail.

If you are a story in which someone has leukemia
"Do not Die My Love" will be really good. I have, but have not yet read (you read a book) I do not know whether a person has leukemia, but I know they have some form of cancer.

I think the keeper of the book is on my sister's leukemia or any other type of cancer ..... That a film about him and one of the main characters in the first previews have any type of cancer.

If you think you have cancer, go to the doctor!

Go to a doctor if you still believe now that you have cancer.

The longer you wait, the harder it is to be saved.

Do not play doctor.

Do not let him enter the 4 months of waiting.
